I'm going to have to take this image that I made and mount it on an Arts Cow canvas to hang on my wall. We always seem to want more, more, more. I know I'm guilty of it occassionally. Time to gather that which we can actually take with us and hold fast.

Just Because...

This quote is getting a bit over-used, but who cares. I still think it's funny. I'm currently reading the book, "Pride And Prejudice And Zombies".  The same Jane Austen story with a bit of brain munching mixed in. Zombie's are all the rage, and I'm sooo buying into it. I guess my 12 year old son and I finally have something in common!

 I admit that I'm preoccupied with losing people since so many in my life have left this world lately. It scares me to think that someone I love and care about could be gone in a blink.  I never want my children to think that I haven't loved them. From the moment I knew they existed, I loved them with every fiber of my being.

 I promise to love each and every person that is in my personal world for as long as I exist and beyond.

I know this phrase has been a round for a while. And perhaps it's a bit over-done now, but that doesn't make it any less true.

I can't even begin to count how many times this phrase has been said or could have been said in my life lately. Sometimes we just can't get around or change certain things. They just are.

It's all in what we DO with this thing that is happening. It is what it is, but how are we going to react to it? Something to think about for sure.

I'm not saying that my vacation was a failure by the above quote. It was actually quite fun (sometimes). But don't all vacations have some sort of discomfort? Whether it be the heat, bugs, family squabbles or too much "going & doing" crammed into one day. There are usually 'downs' to go with the 'ups' right?

I'll be blogging about the vacation/ business trip we took last week as soon as I can. First, I have to get some kids off to school and learn the new online Quickbooks. Plus all of my other responsibilities that life demands. After that, I can get back to the fun stuff....blogging, digi-scrapping, etc!
