Temples Dotting The Earth
I'd love to show this to our Primary kids in the ward, but not sure how to get in on dvd. Isn't it great? And so uplifting in the midst of all the negativity I've been hearing lately.

Try it Tuesday......Yoplait Light Yogurt...cake flavors!
Wasn't Jerry a cutie patootie? My girls say he is from the Nickelodeon show, iCarly.
Now... what did I, personally, think about the Yoplait Light Yogurts in cake flavors?
Well, I've only been able to try ONE flavor! I can only find the Strawberry Short Cake flavor. I found it at Wal-mart. I've checked Plumbs, Meijer and Target. No cake flavors. There is supposed to be not only the Strawberry Shortcake flavor, but also Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Raspberry Cheesecake. All of the flavors are 110 calories and 0 fat. I'd like to try the Raspberry Cheesecake soon if I can find it.
With not much to try, I can only say that I thought the Strawberry Shortcake was just 'ok'. It really didn't taste like shortcake, but it did taste like strawberry and has bits of strawberry. I wish it had bits of cake! There really isn't much else to say since I think I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and any other strawberry yogurt. Bummer. How about you all try them and then you let ME know what you thought? Maybe they can be found easier in other states.
Yoplait also makes the Dora the Explorer kids yogurt that Jillian loves so much (She's 15 by the way...haha). And they also make Fiber One yogurt. I have yet to try that. So far all the Fiber One products (bars, muffins mixes) don't agree with me (remember the rootin' tootin' posts?). So I'm a bit leery to try the yogurt. I might try it on a day when I don't have to leave the house. -wink-. Oh, I did buy the Fiber One toaster pastries at Target last week, but I haven't tried it yet. I think I bought the strawberry one. I'll write a review on it for next week.

Try it Tuesday....Oreo Snack Cakes 100 Calorie Packs

These 100 calorie Oreo Snack Cakes are supposed to be the lighter version of Oreo Cakesters. I like the texture. They are soft. No frosting in the middle tho. Just lines of frosting on top of them. There are cakes in each 100 calorie package and 5 packages to a box. I paid $3.99 at Meijer.
So why am I always disappointed with anything that says Oreo on it??! These are more like yucksters than cakesters. Is it because they are low calorie? Does that have to mean low taste too? I've tried Oreo cereal and it's terrible. Oreo pudding is ok, but really doesn't taste too much like Oreo. The 100 calorie Oreo thin crisps are good, but they taste nothing like an Oreo. They only thing that tastes like an Oreo cookie, is an actual Oreo cookie. When will they ever get it right? Come on Nabisco!
I have yet to try the Oreo 100 Calorie chewy granola bars,
so maybe I'll give it one more chance. I guess the reason for my big disappointment, is that I really like Oreos and so I expect any product with the Oreo name on it, to taste like an Oreo. Is that asking too much?
Speaking of Oreos....a little humor here. I have to admit, I sometimes used to watch the Roseanne show. I mostly liked to watch them because of Jackie. I think Laurie Metcalf was the best comedic actress ever on a sitcom (next to Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe on Friends). Jackie was much funnier than Roseanne. Anyway, the episode, "Let Them Eat Junk" has my favorite Jackie moment. AND it's all about Oreos! This YouTube is 7 minutes long, but the Oreo part ends at 2 minutes. Watch Jackie throw a fit over Roseanne feeding Jackie's son Andy Oreos while she babysits. Warning: there are a few swear/crude words, but it's hilarious that Jackie calls the family a bunch of Oreo eaters with Roseanne being the Oree-ohiest of them all. Quit watching after 2 minutes because the rest isn't as funny and is a bit more crude.
PS...you will have to pause or turn off the music at the bottom of my blog before watching the YouTube.

In da 'hood
I guess I had casually heard of these mini laughables, but never took the time to check them out. I saw one at Mormon Mommy Wars (see my blog roll) and laughed my patootie off. I really needed that laugh today, and thought maybe you might too. They star Jenny McCarthy, Leah Remini and Chelsea Handler. All funny chicks! Watch this one and you'll be hooked into watching the next one and the next one and the next one and the next one....

To a tee...
These sentiments are exactly how I feel about Pres. Hinckley and his passing. I didn't really feel much sadness because I was so happy that he was reunited with his beloved wife. He was a great man and we can all be good examples as he was. We can just... "try a little harder to be a little better."
