What A Deal!

Need an inexpensive gift? A beautiful inexpensive gift? Look no further!

Check out these gorgeous antique looking clocks at Deseret Book. The price? Only $2.99!

That's right...$2.99! The normal price was $19.95.

Um, there is one tiny catch to it. These have a sweet sentiment printed on them , but there is a misprint. :(

But take a look ^... it's a tiny misprint. Truthfully, it doesn't bother me a bit. I bought one (or a few!) myself. I haven't received mine yet, but I've ordered from Deseret Book before and have always been pleased with their products. These clocks are 10 inches high with a 6 inch face. Good sized!

Now if you don't want the misprinted one, no worries. They have other clocks with different sentiments on sale for only $9.98! How about one that says, "Families are Forever"? Or one that says, "Time spent with family and friends, is time well spent."? Cute.

Plus, there are several other things on sale and clearance.

Annnnnd....if you spend $50, you can use this code (9GGDIR) to get $10 off your order. It doesn't expire until December 24th. And yes, this includes sale and clearance items! The only thing it doesn't include are the Willow Tree products, gift cards and church distribution items.

Happy shopping everyone!

EDIT: 12/01
Hurry! Use this code (insider1201) to get free shipping on an order of $25 or more! But hurry....it expires at midnight tonight! (I don't think you can combine coupons, but you could try)

Black Friday @ Amazon!

It's here!

Today is the day!

You know, I'm not a fan of Christmas commercialism starting before Thanksgiving, but I AM a fan of starting the gift shopping as early as I can!

I shop at Amazon every year because I can really find some great bargains. Actually, I'd say 75% of my shopping is done on Amazon every year. Most items have free shipping if your order totals $25 or more. I'm over 1/2 way done with my gift shopping this year and I already have Amazon boxes all over my house.

Shopping for toys? Try the Amazon outlet! I click on the button that is 70% off and can find hundreds of toys that are cheaper than in the stores. Amazon can be tricky though....sometimes they have things that are rediculously more expensive. Do a little research if you're looking for a specific toy and then check out Amazon to see how they compare.

Amazon also has some rebates etc. that make it soooo worth buying from them. Recently I saw Guitar Hero 5 bundle for $98.99 at Amazon PLUS they give you a $40 online store credit. PLUS, they had a code to get another $20 off the order. Total for Guitar Hero 5 bundle....$38.99! What a steal! Sadly, I did not partake of this deal and now the $20 off coupon has expired. But you can still get the bundle with a $40 credit on future orders, so it's still a great deal.

My advice for saavy black friday shopping, is to check out bfads.net. You may have heard of this site, but just in case you haven't, they give shoppers a sneak peek at Black Friday ads from major retailers like Target, Best Buy, JC Penney etc. Sign up for their newsletter and they will send you deal info every day in your email inbox. That's how I found out about the Guitar Hero 5 bundle deal.

Now, if you're planning to check out the Amazon early Black Friday deals, could you please click thru the banner at the top of this post, click the Amazon ad banner on my sidebar or use this link?? ----> Amazon Black Friday

I would be every so grateful!

Happy Shopping Everyone!!!!

And here is another one just to be safe! :)

Get yummies CHEAP!

Head on over to The Popcorn Factory for some winter deals. There are 18 items to choose from.

I was able to snag this Gold Stars and Swirls Sampler, for $6.99, plus able to use this code, P67, to get $5.00 off! $1.99 for goodies is my kind of deal!

Shipping was $5.99,but with the code, I ended up with a total of $7.99. Not too shabby considering the regular price was $19.99 plus shipping before the sale.

The cheapest item they have is the Holiday Dots Sampler which is $5.99. It's the same as what I ordered above, accept that it has mint candies and spice drops compared to the chocolate and sour chews that I ordered. And it comes in a red container instead of the gold. We are chocolate people, so that made me want to pay an extra dollar.

Now go to the website, click on the left hand side where it says, "Winter Sale", use the discount code P67, and get some sweet treats for the fam. Don't waste time in ordering since I don't know how long this sale will last. You know you want treats, so get over there pronto.

PS...the chocolate chip cookies are super yummo!

I Want Some MBT's!

MBT Shoes. The, "Anti-shoe"? Have you seen these shoes yet? I spied them in the Family Circle magazine today. I'm sure I've seen them before, but didn't know the benefits to having a pair.

While they are funky looking, they are the kind of shoe I would love to wear every day. I'd have a pair for casual walking and a pair for my Walk Away The Pounds workout. Heck, I'd wear them anywhere because of the health benefits.

They are designed to boost muscle activity in your legs and decrease stress on your knees and hip bones, providing relief for your joints.

Masai Sensor (Masai Barefoot Technology®) creates a pleasant feeling of walking on a sandy beach or soft moss.

I've read that some doctors are recommending the shoes for people who have back, hip, foot and joint problems. I have backaches all the time, plus my feet hurt. I'm sure it's because of my weight, but it didn't help that I fell at church recently and that I wore flip-flops all summer.

Anyway, these shoes are also designed to help promote good posture. There seem to be a zillion reasons for me to buy some of these shoes...but of course there is one reason that I can't. They are $200 and up per pair. Ouch.

Zappo's has many styles and occasionally they go on sale, but I still can't afford $177 for a shoe on sale. *sigh*

But I can dream about it right? These are the pairs I would buy if I could afford them. Aren't they great? Funky, but great!

I saw a girl wearing these with a skirt in the ads. Works for me!

These would be great for walking as a routine or on hikes.

They also sell sandals and boots. Plus, professional styles. I wonder if they make children's shoes? They would be so much better for their growing feet.

If you're interested in learning more about the benefits of this shoe, visit the website here. The website has a good amount of information plus it's a well-done site.

Annnnd....if you are interested in buying them from AMAZON, please search for them using the sidebar Amazon thingie's I have over there -------> :) Thanks!

P.S....Macie thinks these things are butt-ugly, so now I really wish I could afford them just to embarrass her.

Freebie Alert!

I saw that Lipstock is giving away a free sample of their Chapstock. Wha? Not Chapstick...it's Chapstock. It's a cream lip conditioner. Anyway, try it here.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Did You Start Christmas Shopping Yet?

The Christmas shopping season is upon us!

I have decided to become an Amazon Associate. I am frequently trying to find ways to earn money or save money during the holidays. I thought if I became an Amazon Associate, I might be able to earn a little cash so that I can afford to buy some gifts for my family this year.

If you could help me out, I would MUCH appreciate it! No pressure though....just if you were thinking of ordering something thru Amazon, and you don't mind taking a detour, you can order the same things at Amazon by way of my site.

I will earn a percentage if you shop Amazon through my link on the right sidebar. The Amazon link goes right to my store where you can find any Amazon product. I will also earn if you shop Amazon through either the Deals box or Amazon Search box on the right sidebar. Amazon has some SUPER big steals and deals on toys during the Christmas season! I always shop for toys at Amazon every year.

Anyway, thanks for letting me plug my new venture and any time you want to order an Amazon product, please do it thru ME! :)

Thanks! :)

Apothecary Jar..SALE!

Check it out! Looks like this large apothecary jar at Boscov's was $69.99 and now it's marked down to $9.99! It's 22" tall x 11" wide. Shipping is also $9.99, for a total of $21.98. Not too shabby. PLUS, it comes with the removable pears! I've seen smaller ones for about the same as the regular price. They can get expensive. It looks like ikitchen.com has the same one for $33.74. So it still looks like Boscov's is a better deal. They both might even be Pfaltzgraff??? Nice.

If you are thinking of ordering this from Boscov's, you might want to hurry. I'm not sure how long this sale lasts. Here is the link.

Books-A-Million is on my crap list

You know I'm always up for a bargain or a good freebie right? Well, when I saw that the website, Books-A-Million had one of my favorite children's books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar for a cheap price, I jumped on it. The book even came with a CD and all this for only $5.27 TOTAL! It was a hardcover book to boot! Of course I ordered right away. I got a confirmation email with a link to check on my order status.

A week later, I still had not received my book, so I checked the order status online. The order was still in the processing stage! -sigh-

Another 3 weeks later (doing the math, that's a FULL month after my initial order), I receive an email saying the book is no longer available. Wha?! I'm sooooo ticked.

I had never ordered from this company before and now I know I never will again. Why advertise an item, take the order (and my money!) and then not actually fulfill it? Really poor business practice.

This has happened to me once before when I ordered (tried to anyway) a baby swing from Baby Universe. They also took my money and a couple weeks later told me that the swing was not available.

I've written a few reviews for both of these online stores in hopes that people will be discouraged from ordering from these sites.

I won't in put links on the stores, because I don't want any of you to have a similar experience, but remember the store names....Books-A-Million and Baby Universe. Be like me and put them on your crappola list. It might save you a couple online shopping headaches.

Speaking of online ordering...I'm super grateful for it. The convenience is amazing. I save time & gas, plus tend to find much better deals online than going to the mall. My love of Amazon has now turned me into an Amazon associate. I will post more about it later, but basically I will have a link to Amazon that you can order from and then I get some credit for it. Weeee. I will also have a widget where you can search Amazon right from my blog. Double weeeee!

Oh, and another reason I love online shopping is that I can order at any time of day or night sitting in my pj's if I feel like it :)

Sweet Apothecary Find

I love a deal :)

I haven't had much money lately to spend on anything frivolous, but yesterday I had to go to Hobby Lobby for some church things. Of course when I saw the sign that said, "80% off", I had to check out those aisles! They were packed full of home decor, but my eye spotted this pretty apothecary jar. Guess the price? Only $3.60!I pay more for a burger at BK. The regular price was $17.99. I had to scoop it up. There were none like it. It looks so cute on my kitchen counter. Even the candy hearts were on sale for only 50 cents a bag :)

Now what to put in it when the candies are scarfed down? Any ideas? I'd like to keep it in the kitchen, but I can be persuaded to move it to the living room mantle. :)

Black Friday Ads

Anyone going Christmas shopping this Friday?

Did you check out the ads online yet? My title is a clickable link to www.bfads.net. Look at the ads before they come out in tomorrow's paper.

I doubt I'll be going this year since we are broke as a joke right now. If I do, it will be to Toys R Us, since they have a few things I would buy for my kiddos. They also have in-store-only items that you can view on their website.
