Give, Oh Give-A-Way!
I did it. I've joined the *give-a-way* bandwagon!
Would you like to receive your very own Try It Tuesday product? For freeee?!
Just say yes. You know you want to.
Here's how it will work.......
Leave me a comment telling me which product that I have reviewed that you would loooooove to have sent right to your doorstep. You can find the Try It Tuesday products by using the search box or clicking on the label cloud on the right hand side of my blog. You'll have to scroll a bit to find it. If you are already a follower of my blog, you probably have a product already in mind!
Make sure when you comment, that you leave me a link to your blog or an e-mail address so I can contact you. If I already know you...no worries! Chances are, I know you anyway because my blog is teeeny tiny in the blogger world. Which, I might add, doesn't bother me a bit.
RULES:
There.. are.. no.. rules.
LOL. Just kidding. I had to say that. Anyone watch the movie, "Rat Race"??
Ok, maybe not. *sigh*
Anyway, there is only one rule. If you do not live in my town, you cannot choose a product that needs to be refrigerated or frozen. Sorry...that's just too much work for moi. If you don't even know where I live, then make it easy and just choose something that needs no refrigeration okay? Thanks!
Oh, I lied. There are 2 rules. The winner needs to "try" the product and then e-mail me to let me know how they liked it. Sort of a mini review if you will. If you would include a photo of yourself actually using the product.....well, then you become my new best friend. (although a photo isn't really necessary....and who needs another friend to annoy you anyway?!)
So go ahead and leave me that comment! You know you want to.
Just make sure you do it soon because this give-a-way lasts only until *Sunday, September 27th.* On Monday the 28th, I'll pick a weeeeener!!

Try it Tuesday.....O Water
I found it! For awhile, I didn't think I would be able to find O Water in my city, but there it was on the shelf at Meijer. I only knew to look there because Holly found it first. She bought some too, but I haven't heard yet as to what she thinks of it (you better comment Holly!)
Each bottle was about $1.39 for 20 oz. I decided to try the Twist of Lemon & Lime and also the Twist of Wild Berries. Other flavors include:
-Twist of Strawberry
-Twist of Mandarin Orange
-Twist of Peach
Now if you go and try this water expecting it to be full of sweet flavor, forget it. It's only got a hint of the flavors. Actually, I find it to be quite refreshing. As far as flavored waters go, for me, it's usually a hit or miss kind of thing. I can't stand most of the Aquafina flavored waters or the Dansai. On the other hand, I love most of the Nestle Pure Life and Fruit 2 O's. Give me any kind of lemon flavored water and I usually like it. The O Water was no exception. It was good, but like I said, only a hint of lemon and lime were present. On the website, it says, "We don't disguise water, we celebrate it", meaning you won't find it to be a sickeningly sweet water.
O Water has electrolytes in it with no sugar or artificial anything. They also make an Infused water with antioxidants.
If you cannot find it in your local stores, you will find that Amazon sells it.
If you prefer to have a hint of lemon or lime in your plain old tap water, try adding True Lemon. It's crystallized lemon in a small packet to add to water. I looooove it. They also make True Lime and True Orange. I haven't tried the orange yet. True Lemon has
all natural ingredients and supplies 25% of an adults daily requirement of vitamin C.
I had recently read an article online about how restaurants frequently allow bacteria on the fresh lemon wedges that we love so much in our water. Ew. I think carrying a packet of True Lemon would be better than risking bacteria in our drinks don't you? Check out the website to learn ways of cooking with True Lemon too. Plus, the website also has free samples to try. Gotta love a freebie! Oh, and get this...if you try a sample, they will also send a sample to soldiers in Iraq. Double bonus!
Ok, enough of the healthy sounding stuff....next week I plan to try the new Hershey Bliss chocolate. Mmmmmm.

Girl, am I hungry!
Mini Microwave Triple Chocolate Cake
PER SERVING (entire recipe): 123 calories, 1g fat, 201mg sodium, 28g carbs, 0.75g fiber, 12g sugars, 2g protein -- POINTS® value 2*
Ingredients:
2 tbsp. Pillsbury Moist Supreme Reduced Sugar Cake Mix, Devil's Food
2 tbsp. Cool Whip Free, thawed
1 tbsp. fat-free vanilla yogurt
1 tbsp. Hershey's Lite chocolate syrup, divided
Directions:
Stir together the whipped topping and half of the syrup, and then place mixture in the freezer to firm up while you prep the rest of your dessert. Next, in a very small microwave-safe dish (like a ramekin), combine cake mix and yogurt. (Don't worry if it seems like a small amount. Your cake will puff up -- we promise!) Stir until smooth and blended. Microwave for 1 minute, and then allow to cool for 5 minutes. Once cake has cooled, remove chocolate topping from freezer, and spoon it over your cake. Finally, drizzle the remaining chocolate syrup on top. Enjoy!
MAKES 1 SERVING
Sounds yummo huh?! This is from today's Hungry Girl newsletter. I love how Hungry Girl adds the WW points!
These little cakes remind me of making individual No Pudge brownies, but I can't stand No Pudge. Ack. The instructions were easy to make individual brownies, but they tasted fake. So this Hungry Girl recipe might be a nice replacement. It also can take the place of pricey Warm Delight Mini dessert bowls. Sounds good to me! I can't wait to try it. Mmmmm.
FREEBIE ALERT!
On Feb. 28 and 29, as part of a national sampling event, McDonald's customers will be offered a free McSkillet burrito with the purchase of a medium or large drink. This is only during breakfast hours. Guess we missed today, but there's always tomorrow right?
Another freebie found at Passwird.com:
Get a free 6-Month Professional Photographer Subscription. I'm not good enough at photography to enjoy this magazine, but there are some who are...*wink*wink*.
There seems to be no cc required which is always a plus in my book. Passwird says....For more than 100 years, Professional Photographer, the official magazine of Professional Photographers of America, has helped readers advance careers in the photographic industry. Here is the link to the free subscription information: PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER
I live for freebies! If you ever run across some, please share with meeeeeee!
