Not too Shabby!

Instead of trying a food or cleaning product on Try it Tuesday, I want you to "try" a new website instead!

I have to plug my sweet friend Megan's website! She is, and always has been, a very talented person! (I thnk she gets that from her Mommy).

National Geographic Website

Ever watched The National Geographic Channel? They have a lot of great programs. One of my favorites is DogTown, a show about rescued dogs. I expect to shed a couple tears whenever I watch, but I can't tug myself away from it.

The National Geographic Channel now has a website where you can watch segments/videos from you favorite shows including DogTown. I recently watched one where people were seriously afraid of clowns. Just watching it could make me afraid! I find them to be a bit creepy anyway. Don't watch if you might freak out a bit. There are a few scary ones in the segment.

Anyway, check out the website. It can be a great educational tool (except for the clown one!)

Stand-On Riding Blower & Vacuum

Now, for those of you who would like to read a wife's excitement over her husband's, "other woman", as he calls it, then keep reading. He calls the machine that because he has spent countless hours designing, building, improving and selling this machine. All of which cuts into family time, but for a good cause.

How did it come to be?
Years ago he had a grand idea...you know, one of those ideas that no one else had thought of before that just might be the next big thing. Commercially that is. It might not be the biggest thing to an ordinary housewife, but it might be to her husband if he owns a commercial lawn company or a golf course! -wink-

I'm sure you've seen lawn care companies pulling around that little blower to clean up leaves in the fall. Heck, you might even own one of those, but you are more likely to own a backpack blower. Trash Ties

I found a cutie pie product! Trash Ties are awesome! What a cool concept! We all know what a trash tie is. Wire and plastic that seals the bag for us. Bread ties work the same. How about putting one or two in your hair?!


Ok, ok. You wouldn't really want to put a plastic trash tie in your hair. But these little cuties work on the same concept, but are made with fabric and bendable (wire?). They come in several colors and 2 lengths. How cool would it be to use it as a headband? To tie up your pony tail? Check out the website for a gallery of gorgeous hair-dos using the Trash Tie.


I can just see some of the YW in my Ward using these in their up-do's. Can't you picture it in your darling daughter's hair? So easy to twist it instead of a elastic band snapping you. Check it out! I'll be putting my order in soon!
